Traditional Musical Instrument of the Chaudhri Tribe

The object shown in the picture is in the process of making a traditional musical instrument used by the Chaudhri community. This is the lower part of the “Dovlu” musical instrument. The black portion visible in the image is actually gum (a natural adhesive used for sticking parts together).

The outer edge of the instrument is made from palm leaves. The remaining part is prepared using dried bottle gourd and bamboo. In this way, the traditional instrument is created using natural materials, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the Chaudhri tribe.
