This is one step in the process of making the Dovlu musical instrument. In this step, gum (a substance used for sticking and joining parts) is applied. The gum is used to join the dried bottle gourd and bamboo pieces together.

The purpose of this process is to prevent outside air from entering the instrument. This ensures that when the instrument is played, no external sound interferes with it and only the clear sound of the Dovlu is produced.
