Tools Used in Gond Wood Art

All the tools seen in the picture are used in the creation of Gond woodcraft. There are several types of tools present here. Some are used for cutting the wood, some for carving, and others are used to smooth the wooden surface.

In addition to these, there are many small tools used for creating intricate designs as well as circular and semi-circular shapes. Most of these tools are crafted from a combination of iron and wood. However, plastic has also been used in some tools such as the handle of the saw.

Among these instruments, a divider (compass) is also used, which is considered very helpful for making precise circular or semi-circular patterns. You can also see a measuring tape in the picture which helps the artist carve their creation onto the wood with accurate measurements and proportions.
