Course Overview

Wood Craft is traditionally practiced by the Gond Tribe in Madhya Pradesh. Artisans use locally available forest wood to carve masks, ritual objects, tools, and decorative items. The designs often depict animals, nature, and elements of tribal life. This craft reflects the community’s traditional wood-carving skills and their close relationship with forest resources.
